CLAY CITY, Ky – April 15th marked the start of the BTB & NFAA 3D Open! This competition is unique as it is run and held by Break the Barriers, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting archers of all abilities, backgrounds, and Veterans. This 3D Open brings in archers from around the world to shoot 102 life-size 3D targets, special to this event! All proceeds go towards supporting Break the Barriers!
Coming in first place in the Professional Male Freestyle division is one of BTB’s largest advocates, Jesse Broadwater. Jesse successfully led his division by an eight-point lead to secure his second first-place finish in a row and third first-place finish overall. In addition, he teamed up with Donnie Tacker for the team rounds where they placed first!
Also placing first and a big supporter of the competition, Paige Pearce took the Professional Female Freestyle division by storm with an impressive 46-point lead! This is Paige’s second first-place finish in a row and her third overall podium finish at the BTB 3D Open! She teamed up with Tate Morgan in the team rounds where they finished in second place!
Congratulations to everyone who made the podium! It is great to see so many archers come to compete at this event and support such a wonderful organization! We are happy to see the continued success of the BTB & NFAA 3D Open and are excited for when it returns in 2024.
