CLAY CITY, KY- This past weekend was the start of the IBO World Championships in Mount Vernon, OH. Here, shooters shot against competitors from around the world on tough unknown IBO courses. Archers were awarded the distinction of the IBO Triple Crown Shooter of the Year as well!
Starting off in the pro female class, Erin McGladdery took first place for the World Championships and second place for Triple Crown Shooter of the Year! This is her first IBO win of the year and a great way to end out the 3D season.
In the pro male release division, two GAS Bowstrings shooters made the podium in the race for Triple Crown Shooter of the Year! Those two archers would be Jacob Slusarz who took first place and Joseph Goza who took third.
Congratulations to these archers on a successful IBO season and to all of the GAS shooters who made the podium this past weekend or broke personal records! GAS Bowstrings is excited to have top archers competing with our strings and we would be nothing without the support of these archers!
